Have You Ever Wondered How Much Sugar You Are Consuming?

Recently, I asked on my Facebook Fan Page a question: What is in your cup this morning? The replies really surprised me.  Most people replied coffee, some tea but a large majority replied a soft drink! To my astonishment it was Mountain Dew. I am not going to judge or wave my finger at you and tell you that is wrong but take a look at the chart to the right and you be your own judge.


A few reasons to avoid sugar:


  1. Weight gain
  2. Causes cancer
  3. Diabetes
  4. Is addictive
  5. Rots teeth
  6. Decreases energy
  7. Empty calories
  8. Robs body of minerals
  9. Aging
  10. Skin conditions

Read labels and if necessary substitute with honey or real maple syrup.  Stevia is also a great alternative.

Take care of your body is your biggest investment and the only one you have.
