  • 2 Cups Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1/4 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Spinach
  • 2 Frozen Bananas
  • 1 Cup Frozen Triple Berry Mix
  • 2 Scoops Unflavored Kaizen Natural Whey Protein Powder (or any other brand) - Optional.

Blend and Enjoy!  This is a great way to hide vegetables in kids drinks (omit the protein) - you can't taste it or see it!

Yield 2 - 3 Servings.




Carrot Spinach Mango Smoothie


I am not afraid to experiment - that's the beauty of smoothies - throw crazy things in a blender and taste the results - sometimes I squirm at the results, but others like this one make me smile.
Ingredients:
  • 1 Cup Organic Carrot Juice
  • 1 Cup Pure Orange Juice
  • 1/4 Cup of Greek Plain Yogurt
  • 1/4 Cup of Frozen Mango Chunks
  • 1/4 Cup of Fresh Spinach 
  • 1 Frozen Banana
  • 1/4 Cup of Oatmeal 
Blend all the above really well.  
I find that this smoothie did not require a sweetener but if you would like you can add your own (honey, agave). Also, if it is too thick just add more carrot or orange juice to taste.

Yield 2 Servings.




Blueberry Protein Smoothie

Don't be afraid to add extras to your smoothies to give them a bit of an extra kick!

This is a great recipe after a hard workout or after a morning run - full of vitamins, antioxidants and protein!

  • 1 Cup Frozen Organic Blueberries
  • 1 handful of fresh spinach (here is the kick!)
  • 2 Cups Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1/4 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 2 Scoops Unflavored Kaizen Natural Whey Protein Powder (or any other brand)


Blend all the above and enjoy!

Yield 2 servings.

P.S. Don't be afraid of the spinach, you can't taste it!


Sunshine Smoothie


Good Morning!

1 Frozen Banana
1 Fresh Peach (if not available use can peaches - no sugar)
1 Cup of Frozen Mangos
1 Cup of Orange Juice (freshly squeeze - no sugar)
Ice
1 Scoop Whey Natural Protein (optional)


Blend all - This is like a slushy! Totally delish!

Enjoy!


Yield 2 Servings

Strawberry Mango Protein Smoothie



3 Cups Unsweetened Almond Milk
1 Cup Frozen Strawberries
1 1/2 Cups Frozen Organic Mango
2 Tsp Organic Honey
3 Scoops Unflavored Kaizen Whey Powder (or any other brand on hand)


Blend all and enjoy! This one tasted like a strawberry milkshake! YUM!  Add more mango for a different taste.

Yield 3 servings.  
Apple Carrot Smoothie


 
Blend all the following ingredients together:

  • 1 Cup of Orange Juice
  • 1 Cup of Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 Cup of chopped baby carrots
  • 1 Cup of Organic Unsweetened Apple sauce (or 1 chopped apple)
  • 1 Frozen Banana
  • 1 Tsp of Organic Honey
 Yield 2 Servings


If one chopped apple is used instead of apple sauce, add more orange juice.  Substitute orange juice with apple juice for a different taste.  For added protein, add 1-2 scoops of unflavored natural whey protein.

Pineapple Banana Protein Smoothie

  • 1 Frozen Banana
  • 1 3/4 Cup or 1 can (14oz) Pineapple chunks (no sugar - juice optional)
  • 1/4 Cup Greek Plain Yogurt
  • 1 2/3 cups 1 can of Organic Coconut Milk
  • 2 Scoops of Unflavored Kaizen Whey Powder (or any other on hand) 

Blend and enjoy!

Keep in mind that this may be a little thick in which case add more pineapple juice or ice.  I add protein powder to all my drinks because I drink these after my daily workout.  If you don't want to add any more protein to your diet, omit and it will taste just as delicious.
Yield 2 servings.
 Banana Mango Orange
Smoothie
 

1 Frozen Banana
1/2 Cup Frozen Organic Mango Chunks
1 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
1/2 Cup Orange Juice
1 Scoop Unflavored Kaizen Natural Whey Powder (or any other brand on hand)

Blend all above ingredients and enjoy! If a less thicker smoothie is desired add more almond milk or ice.

Yield 1 serving.


Triple Berry Protein Smoothie


1 Cup Frozen Organic Triple Berries (blackberries, blueberries, raspberries)
1 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
1/2 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
1 Scoop Unflavored Kaizen Natural Whey Powder (or any other brand on hand)
1 Tsp Bee Pollen
1 Tsp Organic Honey (optional)
1 Tsp Flax Seed Powder (optional)




Blend all ingredients and enjoy - if you find this a bit thick, then add more milk or ice.  The first batch I made, I didn't add honey and I found it a bit tart so it is up to you how you like your smoothies.  This is one is one of my favorites! Serves 1.


Almond Butter Banana Smoothie

  • 1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1 Fresh or frozen banana
  • 1/4 Almond Butter
  • 1 scoop Unflavored Kaizen Natural Whey Powder (or any other brand on hand)
  • 1/4 cup ice
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 Bee Pollen

Blend all together and Enjoy! This smoothie is delicious! Yield 1 serving.


Blueberry Protein Smoothie


  • 1 cup unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1/4 ice cubes
  • 1 cup frozen Organic blueberries
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 scoop Unflavored Kaizen Natural Whey Powder (or any other brand)
  • 1/2 tsp Bee Pollen

Blend all together and enjoy! Omit ice cubes if a thicker drink is desired. Also, you can add 1 tsp of organic honey for a sweeter choice.


This is an awesome drink after a great workout - full of protein and antioxidants. Serves 1.






Mango Coconut Smoothie
  • 1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1 cup Frozen Mango Chunks
  • 1/4 cup Greek Yogurt - Coconut Flavor
  • 1 scoop Unflavored Kaizen Natural Whey Powder (or any other brand)
  • 1/2 tsp Bee Pollen


Blend together and enjoy! I like my smoothies thick and chunky so I blended it until desired consistency - if you prefer them less thick add more Almond milk or water.  Serves 1.
